Most importantly, we let you keep control of your tax dollars until they are due. Unlike other traditional payroll services, we do not impound your tax dollars! Your tax dollars are paid directly from your bank account to the appropriate tax agencies when they are due (-or earlier, if so desired).


Q: What do I need to get started? 


A: All we need is your company and employee information, and payroll history (if any) for this year. Please

Q: Can I switch payroll services mid-year?


A: Yes, you can easily switch to Prestige Payroll Solutions from any other payroll service at any time of the year! If you have already paid wages to employees during the calendar year we'll simply need the year-to-date payroll information. This way your client's withholding calculations, tax payments, form filings and year-end W-2s will be accurate. 


Q: How long does it take to set up? 


A: Setup time varies depending on how many employees you have, what time of year you get started, and your previous payroll method. Most customers are able to be set up in just a few hours. 

Setup for electronic services such as direct deposit and federal and state tax payments and filings can take up to 2-3 weeks. We encourage you to submit the electronic services and direct deposit authorization forms to us as soon as possible to expedite the process.


Q: What are your service levels? 


A: There are two general categories of service levels offered: 

I. Direct Deposit/Electronic Checks 
    • The easiest and safest way to pay employees is to take advantage of our free direct deposit service. This is the least expensive and most convenient service level offered and is the preferred method by most employers. For employee records, we create professional pay stubs you can print. Even better, we can setup employee access so that on payday our service automatically sends employees an email letting them know they have a pay stub available. Employees log into a secure website to view and print their pay stubs online.
    • Alternatively, you can print paychecks from your computer using blank or pre-printed computer check stock by logging into your secure online account.
    • As another option, we can email PDFs of the checks for printing on blank check stock.
    • Finally, you can hand-write checks on your current business checks, after we tell you the net pay amounts, and print pay stubs we send you using plain paper.
II. Paper Checks 
    • We print and deliver the paychecks to you.

Q: How does Direct Deposit work? 


A: Direct deposit allows you to transfer funds electronically from your U.S. bank account to your employees’ accounts. 

There is a 2-day lead time for direct deposits. For example, direct deposits approved on Wednesday by 5 pm are guaranteed to arrive in your employees’ accounts on Friday by 5 pm. 

Setting up direct deposit is easy. To set up direct deposit simply submit an authorization form with the routing and bank account information for both your bank account and each employee. Initial confirmation usually takes about 2 ½ weeks. After that, we can process 2-day direct deposits. 



Q: How do I ‘call in payroll’? 


A: There are a few options available to let us know how many hours your employees worked during the pay period: 

  • Online: The easiest method of ‘calling in payroll’ is via your individualized online account (accessible from our login webpage). Once you are logged in, you will be able to record the number of hours each employee worked during the pay period, enter any commissions owed, and approve salaried employees’ paychecks. 
  • Fax: You can fax the hours to (530) 326-4003.
